I used to be a big fan of the xbox 360 and getting me off call of duty 4 was nearly impossible, apart from the hours I was either at work or sleeping it’s the only activity I was getting involved in.
Then I saw a friend of mine playing world of warcraft for the first time, to me it just looked terrible as the graphics were a little shoddy and the gameplay looked like it would send anyone to sleep. However on a bathroom break he told me to have a quick go which ended up with me begging to play a little more.
The next day I visited HMV and brought the game along with all the expansion packs that were out at the time and to this day I still spend a couple of hours playing every day.
However…
I have recently started playing a lot of online flash games again, from the classics such as super mario and sonic, to newer games like lake fishing and racing games.
And while they are not as addictive as the type of games that require more concentration and thought, they can be extremely fun!
My favourite games at the moment are:

4. Tetris
5. Pinball
6. Street Sesh
7. road of the dead
8. adrenaline challenge
9. fire fight 2
10. super mario flash
The list is in no particular order, just based on which ones I could remember first.
If you haven’t played many flash games I would highly recommend you start checking them out, i’m sure your be suprised how quickly you find an addictive game and just how much fun you have with it.
